Weekly Review 13-17th May 2019

Another weekly review and I guess this is probably the reason why I am doing this blog, not only to try and provide value but for my actual journey because one day I can look back at this and see how I have evolved as a trader and person. So here is what happened

As you see it was a very rough week. 4 losses and 1 winner and quite a frustrating week. The reason it was frustrating is because both patterns I took I didn’t think they would win but I have to stick to my rules hence they were taken. I was fine with it before, especially with FTBs where it occurs more frequently but because it has been such a logn drawdown it made me feel almost helpless. Now there was always the option to decrease the risk on it but I don’t feel confident enough just yet to do that to drastic measures. But it is what it is and I just have to stick to the plan and see what happens. In terms of FTB it was also annoying to see the second trade lose as I did think there was potential for it to push down and then I just get stopped out and carries down what would’ve been a very nice winnner but yea it is what it is.

Last week we took a look into GbpJpy and predicted a short move on it so lets see how this played out.

As you see we did get a push down to that level predicted and even carried on to break below it. However we did get a pullback from that zone so if you potentially wanted a counter trend opportunity it could have been something for you to take and make the most out of. So this wraps up a weekly review and lets hope I can start sharing some winners rather than losers but the markets will decide for themselves what happens.
